This van has a story – here it is:
This van was purchased from the previous owner with the intention of replacing the original Slant 6 engine (which is frozen). Previous owner spent over $1500 on tires/brakes/electrical/steering/etc. and drove throughout the Western US in a very reliable vehicle. The one issue is that he didn’t keep on top of the oil and engine seized up and then I purchased it.
The current status is the the engine was being stripped out of the car and then life creeped in. All parts are present and this would be a great project.
A few more details:
Title is salvage based on an minor rear accident years ago when the van wasn’t worth what it would have cost to fix. The damage is very slight and does not impact the drive-ability at all.
Sunroof has been replaced with new.
Front seats aren’t shown but are in very good condition.
The $1500 price is very firm as I know there will be many calls.
The van will need a flatbed tow truck to move unless time is taken to secure the motor for transport.
