A108 CONVERSIONS

Who says you can’t take all the comforts of home with you?  Your Dodge A108, with conversions,* becomes a real traveling vacation home.  No need to worry about accommodations and reservations.  Complete with range, running water, icebox, sleeping accommodations plus storage for your gear.  The new 108-inch wheelbase conversions offer 43 cubic feet more living and storage room than the shorter, 90-inch wheelbase models.  You can pull a boat trailer, too.

Dodge A100 Engines

STANDARD, 101 HP., SLANT SIX 170

A real economy champion particular suited for jobs like retail delivery and door-to-door service.  Uses lower prices regular gasoline.

OPTIONAL, 140-HP., SLANT SIX 225

This bigger Dodge Six delivers additional power for longer runs and harder service.  Does it on a light diet of regular gasoline.

OPTIONAL, 210-HP., 318 V8

This new, lightweight V8 engine makes the A108 the world’s most powerful compact van.  Operates on regular gasoline.

Dodge A100 Transmissions

STANDARD 3-SPEED MANUAL (MODEL A903)

A husky, 3-speed, manual transmission that is quiet and smooth.  Offered with either 9 1/2-inch or 10-inch* clutch.  Shift lever is on steering column.  Standard with the 170-cubic-inch Six only, and not available with other engines. *10″ clutch is optional, at extra cost.

OPTIONAL HEAVY-DUTY MANUAL (MODEL A745)

An exceptionally rugged, 3-speed, manual transmission. Big 10″ diameter clutch.  Optional with the 170 Six.  Required with optional 225 Six and 318 V8 engines.

OPTIONAL LOADFLITE 3-SPEED AUTOMATIC

One of the most economical and efficient automatic ever built.  Remarkably smooth.  Three forward speeds instead of just two.  Optional with all engines.
